What happens if the internet goes down?

The screen shows the fallback image you chose instead of going black. When the connection comes back, your regular content reloads on its own.

Which devices does it run on?

Android tablets running Android 7.0 or newer. Support for Android TV boxes is coming soon.

How fast does a change show up on screen?

In about 30 seconds. If a video is playing, the update waits for it to finish, so nothing jumps mid-clip.

Can I put several screens side by side?

Yes, up to four, as a single video wall. One poster can span all of them, and animations move from one screen to the next.

Won’t the tablet battery wear out if it’s always plugged in?

A tablet kept at 100% all the time swells its battery within months. A Tapo or Shelly smart plug switches charging on and off, so the battery stays between 20% and 85%.

Can I show any web page, not just menus?

Yes. Besides the templates (menu, products, photos and video, video wall) you can show any link: a sales dashboard, a Google Slides or Canva deck, your website, a schedule. It works on tablets and Android TVs, and not only in restaurants — clinics, shops, gyms, offices, schools, hotels.

Does it work on a smart TV, without an app?

Yes, if the TV has a web browser (Samsung, LG, Philips, Android TV and others). Open signagefast.com/tv in the browser, a 6-character code appears and you pair it from the dashboard like a tablet. For screens that run unattended for days we still recommend an Android stick with the app: it starts on its own after a power cut and doesn’t go into power saving.

Can I try it before paying?

Do I need technical skills?
